Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using D4 Loot Filter Viewer ("https://www.d4lootfilter.com", "the site", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site.
2. Description of Service
D4 Loot Filter Viewer is a free, browser-based tool that decodes Diablo 4 loot filter import codes and displays their contents in a readable format. It was built primarily to help PS5 and Xbox players, who cannot import filter codes directly into the game, read and manually recreate filters shared by the community. The service is provided for informational and convenience purposes only. This site is an independent, fan-made project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.
3. No Warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that decoded filter data will be accurate or complete. The mapping between internal game IDs and human-readable names (affixes, item types, unique items, and set bonuses) is maintained from community data sources and may be incomplete or outdated, particularly following new seasonal content or game updates. We do not guarantee that the site will be available at all times, free of errors, or uninterrupted.
4. User Conduct
When using this site, you agree not to:
- Attempt to abuse, overload, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the service in a malicious or unauthorized manner
- Submit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content through any form on the site, including the Report Issue form
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
5. Intellectual Property
Diablo, Diablo 4, and related names, logos, and game data are trademarks or registered trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. We claim no ownership over Diablo 4 game data, item names, or any related intellectual property referenced or displayed by this tool. All original code, design, and content created for D4 Loot Filter Viewer remain the property of their respective owner and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
6. Third-Party Services
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the service, and Google AdSense to display advertisements. These third-party services may collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using this site, you also agree to the terms and privacy practices of these third-party providers.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, D4 Loot Filter Viewer and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this service. This includes, without limitation, any loss resulting from inaccurate decoding of a filter code or from a manually recreated in-game filter not matching the original filter exactly. You use the decoded information entirely at your own risk.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
